This week's episode, we sit down with Jeff Simmermon. Jeff started off as an online content manager for major companies and has since moved on to build quite the artistic career. He's a storyteller, stand-up comedian, and the producer behind "And I am Not Lying," a monthly variety show at UCB East (in NYC) that combines standup, storytelling, burlesque, sideshows, and music on the second Friday of every month. He also just recorded his first comedy album with Comedy Dynamics, which will be released in the middle of April. He's won multiple Moth story slams, including the Grandslam in March 2014. His stories have appeared on This American Life, The Moth's Podcast, and in written form in the Paris Review Daily. He also teaches semi-private lessons (in case you want to get your story out there).

We talk a little about everything. Jeff shares his feelings about his girlfriend moving in, which leads into a story of an early morning catcall Jaqi received today. Jeff shares a conversation he overheard about catcalls, before we transition into fighting reflexes, appearances of others v self & we debate how intimidating Alia actually is. Alia shares an internet fight she had with a beginner adult porn star/comedian. And moving on, we all share weird nudity laws. All this and our favorite Dino-(e)rotica, by Christie Simms: TAKEN BY THE T-REX.Give us a listen, and we'll see you next week!

About the Whormones Podcast

The Whormones podcast is an anti-feminist, feminist podcast where two completely different points of view of sexuality, feminism, and life are discussed. The politically incorrect humor and witty banter featuring Alia Janine’s wilder and more sexually experienced interpretations, and Jaqi Furback’s biting and more conservative demeanor makes these two the modern day odd couple.

Welcome back! This week's a doozy, with up & coming comedian Usama Siddiquee. Usama Siddiquee is a Bengali-American stand-up comedian and actor based in New York. His act is an energetic (bordering on frenetic) and intelligent (bordering on genius) romp through his own life experiences. He was most recently the 1st place winner of the 2016 Laughing Devil Cup Comedy Festival in New York; the 1st place winner of the 2015 Yonkers Comedy Festival as well as the 1st place winner of the 2015 Make Me Laugh Albany Comedy Festival. He was also featured this year on both FusionTV and Huffington Post. He is constantly working, in most venues NYC has to offer. He also has a new podcast launching called "We Don't Watch Garbage and Neither Should You," a podcast about movies with fellow comedian Justin Watts.
Usama grades Alia on her pronunciation of his name. Jaqi just got back from Thailand, so we talk Urban Legends of travelling, and her trust of strangers. We also discuss cultural fascination and putting other cultures on pedestals. Moving on, we have Tinder talk and the difference between sexual urges in 20s and 30s. We talk about ripe women and the chances attractive men are married. Usama chats about his experiences in India and grades Jaqi on word pronunciation. We talk about barter systems and how speaking the language means you're "one of us." All this and sexy sexy Dino-rotica from "Taken by the TRex" by Christie Sims.

This week's podcast welcomes back comedian Myq Kaplan. If you are unfamiliar with him, he is a 2010 Last Comic Standing Finalist and has appeared on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, the Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents, and all the other places he’s been. Myq’s podcast, Hang Out With Me, is locatable on the Keith and The Girl network. His debut CD, Vegan Mind Meld, was one of iTunes’ top ten best-selling comedy albums in 2010, followed by Meat Robot in 2013 and his one-hour Netflix special Small Dork and Handsome in 2014. The Comedians magazine calls him “a comedy machine, in the best possible way. The way that some machines vend soda or prevent other machines from killing future revolutionaries – that’s how Myq Kaplan does comedy: relentlessly, methodically, unblinkingly.”
Today's episode we cover the results of Alia's heritage test and her confusion with Italy. We discuss clickbait news and what it's done to regular news. Myq & Jaqi answer the question "what is the OA about" by not describing it. We discuss drinking habits or lack thereof and the inspirations of significant others. Hey, it's Valentines Day! Of course Trump comes up for a moment, but let's talk about Myq’s new album "No Kidding," out today on iTunes & his website! It's all about how he doesn't want kids. Alia and Jaqi disagree about why people want kids. We briefly discuss the book "Thinking Fast & Slow." All this and the *almost* climax of "Taken by the T-Rex," by Christie Sims.

This week we sat down with comedian Ben Bergman. Ben has has performed in festivals such as Laughing Derby, Laughing Skull in Atlanta and the last TBS Just For Laughs Festival in Chicago. He has worked with improvOlympics and Second City in Chicago (for improv) and recently moved to NYC to pursue the standup game. Today we talk about everything: from Trump to technology to SNL's rejuvenated popularity to "Easy D." We chat about Betsy DeVos and the nauseau that she has created on both sides of the aisle. Aside from that, Ben figures out that Alia is sexist & racist, Jaqi defends the Innuits and the racial slurs that have been holding them back. (For real, though, if you want to talk about a complete disrespect of a culture, they are SO ignored.) We discuss and plan for the apocolypse (with the help of Alex Jones). Ben & Jaqi reminisce over New York Seltzer. Moving on, we talk about boy/girl "types" and how they relate to what we recognized in our parents, and Alia and Ben share their domain names (available for purchase), and we get a real-time moment where Jaqi learns that Jeff Sessions got confirmed (Ben blacked out for a second and got confused.) All that and the "sexiest" reading yet of "Taken by the T Rex" by Christie Sims. We nearly die from laughter, it's that gross and sexy and hysterical.

This week we have the wonderful Eman El-Husseini. Eman is a recent transplant to NYC, gifted us by Canada. She's toured across Canada, the U.S and, the Middle East and covers a wide range of topics, from how lesbians are the new gentlemen to her parents’ wedding anniversary landing on September 11th. She has appeared multiple times in the Just for Laughs Festivals and has been featured in major Canadian newspapers such as The National Post, The Toronto Star, and The Montreal Gazette. She has also appeared regularly on radio stations such as CJAD, CBC, and CKUT. Her TV credits include a half-hour comedy special on CTV, Comedy Network, and the iChannel. Her album "Unveiled," is currently available on iTunes. We chat about Canada's Hot and wonderful PM Justin Trudeau, who has announced that he will invite all refugees being kept from their homes. We all say FUCK THE NEWS. (Insert unfortunate Trump conversation, here. No, none of us want to talk about this anymore, but we HAVE to.) Eman can't understand why Alia never wants kids, so we talk about procreation, and she asks a lot of questions. Eman makes Jaqi melt at the story of how she met her wife, and Jaqi shares her new attempt at a dating life. Alia and Jaqi confess their "lesbian crushes" and Alia tells us why she won't sleep with female comedians. And of course, we end everything with Jaqi reading an excerpt from "Taken by the T-Rex" by Christie Sims.

Another last minute cancellation leads to a chat about everything that's happened in the past week since the transition of power. We talk about the marches, the removal of foreign aid in developing nations to clinics performing or educating about abortion. And guess what! It's a happy day for big oil, because they may just get their Dakota pipeline after all, since climate change isn't real! (Sweet jesus save us all.) Alia shares a new terror from Utah and Texas: women being potentially sentenced for miscarriages. Alia also shares her newest obsession: an argument that semen enacts a violent crime on a woman's egg without her consent, and an implication that life starts at male ejaculation. Using a bullet pointed list, Alia argues that it's the man's job to reduce sperm count. Jaqi brings up the good in the progressive Netherlands who are compensating for the US removal of support. We talk about Russia potentially decriminalizing domestic abuse/violence in an attempt to "protect the family unit from state interference," and the implications of Trump's "add one law, remove two," theory on small government. And since Alia has been Facebook jailed, Jaqi tells her about #freemilania (on twitter, too), and Alia clarifies "what hoes want." The gagging order on the EPA and USDA comes up, and Jaqi explains why it'd be smarter to just let the mob have power over the country. She also shares her most recent new adventure: acupuncture, and of course, closes the whole thing out with a reading from "Taken by the T-Rex" by Christie Sims. See ya next week!

We had a last minute cancellation, so it's a conversation between the ladies, this week. Jaqi & Alia talk about the impending inauguration "for the people" of our theoretical president, as well as the environmentally aware gay dance party planned for the lawn of Mike Pence. Jaqi brings up her upcoming trip to Bangkok and her plans on hiring a Thai prostitute. We talk about a trip Alia took to Spain and debate whether or not it's dangerous for white women to travel alone. We move back to politics and Alia brings up Lee Camp's show "Redacted Tonight," and the infrastructure Obama put in place that could enable Trump to go to war without America's consent. She brings up Chelsea Manning and the potential pardons of other whistleblowers (which of course brings up Assange's alleged rape). Alia shares her experience on the show NYC Crime Report, and how many there really are. No victim blaming, here, just the unfortunate world we live in. After all this, Jaqi admits she's started dating and shares two recent experiences. We talk about potential relationships and being honest in what you're looking for, as well as your level of honesty in the natural growth of relationships. We discuss our "types," and Jaqi actually says p*ssy (with and without an asterisk). Alia admits that she has to think a guy could beat her up. All this and Alia has chosen Dino-rotica for Jaqi's next reading-- a book called "Taken by the T-Rex," by Christie Sims.

This week on the podcast, we have Tamer Kattan. Tamer began his comedy career in Los Angeles and New York, but very quickly began to tour internationally. He's performed for the troops in Afghanistan, and the Edinburgh fringe in Scotland, where he received three 4 star reviews from international press. Towards the end of 2013, he moved to London for 1 year (following the path of his two biggest comedic influences, Patrice O’Neal and Bill Hicks). Tamer was most recently featured on Seth Rogen’s Hilarity for Charity event with Todd Glass and Hannibal Buress, won the 2015 World Series of Comedy and has TV & Radio credits on BBC and SkyTV in the UK as well as in the U.S. on Fox, HULU, HGTV & truTV. And now he's back in NYC.

We talk about growing up with weird names and how we all got teased as kids. Tamer informs us that growing up in Hollywood CA is not nearly as terrifying as growing up in Cairo, Egypt. He compares his full sleeve tattoos to the spines of a jellyfish and offers an example by a post-show interaction with a biker. We chat about pissgate. Is it real? If so...LOL. We move on to fantasize about fast food - Alia confesses she will cave for KFC, and we all agree BK's fries are the best fries. Tamer talks about his time overseas and European cinema ratings versus American ones and posits that it's healthier for kids to watch sex than anger. We brainstorm organizing vets to save planned parenthood, Tamer demands lesbians help women out by teaching men some things. All that and to Alia's relief, we reached the final segment of "the Art of Being a Lady" by Hannah Pryor.

This week Alia & Jaqi catch up with each other and you. We share Christmas stories, and Jaqi vents about holiday family guiltings when Alia jokingly does the same. We're excited to be here though because we watched a great documentary "Hypernormalization" by Adam Curtis. A nearly 3-hour piece which was originally aired & produced by the BBC, Curtis argues that since the 1970s, governments, financiers, and technological utopians have given up on the complex "real world" and built a simple "fake world" that is run by corporations and kept stable by politicians." (Reference: Wikipedia.) It draws attention to powers that be, complacency, disinformation, new movements and why those movements fail. It draws parallels between the current US political system the failing Russian system of the 70s, and Putin's current rule. We discuss what we each took away from it, and how we move forward (and if we can). After that, we move on to what really matters - what is happening in Blacklist, and the latest Lena Dunham online saga. Then, happy new year everyone! Jaqi's new year involved champagne & the linguistic implications of God as argued by an astrophysicist. We complain about living presents. Never buy a dog to save a relationship! Alia announces our new Patreon page and tells us how to ask a girl to cum on her face. Closing it out, Hannah Pryor teaches Alia how to treat people in a reading from the Art of Being a Lady."

It's episode 69! We did it! We can giggle like teenagers again! And man, get ready to LAUGH -- our guest this week is comedian Jason Rouse. Born in Ontario, Jason has been touring all over the world for around 20 years. His comedy is high intensity shock for which he has been recognized across the globe. He has appeared everywhere from your local yukshack to tours in renowned festivals in the UK. He's appeared in multiple publications both in the US and abroad, and has been compared in NOW Magazine to an "evil Jim Carrey." Most recently you can find him on "Andrew Dice Clay's the blue show," and you can also buy Jason's album "Rotten," which is available on his website.

Requesting a Foley artist for his episode was just the first move of his on this uptempo episode. We talked Trump, dual citizenship and wedding proposals. Jaqi made the mistake of sharing her view on the impracticality of hair, and both of the girls admit to accidental sex with homeless people. We discuss some great horror films that have allowed social media to enter the genre. The three of us debate the true hackneyed stripper shoe. Jason admits a lack of passion for sports as we talk the native origins of Canada's national pasttime. We finish up the conversation with discussions of Christmas Tradition, and Alia plays with the idea of a career change, as we discuss Lewis Black's balls. All this wrapped up by Alia learning how to be a lady at a wedding, with a reading from "The Art of Being a Lady," by Hannah Pryor. (And to answer the question raised, the copyright is 2013.)
