For this week's episode we discuss a really difficult topic that many people do not understand, and would most likely rather not- pedophilia and pedophiles. This episode is a bit longer because we veered off topic a few times. It's a hard subject to have to research, let alone talk about. But, that is where the problem is. Nobody really wants to talk about pedophiles. They rather lock those people up and throw away a key. Why try to understand something so disturbing that will leave you with a sick feeling in your stomach? But, if something someone does is so sinister it makes you want to vomit, shouldn't you want to figure out why they do it, and prevent them doing it?

We talk about current events involving pedophiles, including Jarred Fogle and Josh Duggar. We discuss the different communities, and how there are different types of pedophiles. We bring up the point that pedophilia is a mental disorder and not a choice. How the only studies done are on people who have already offended. We discuss the "deep web" and the very scary facts: 1) 80% of the dark web is used for child pornography, 2) in 2009 child pornography and child sex trafficking was a $20BILLION industry 3) in 2009 the adult film industry was a $13BILLION industry. We also bring up a story about a "family" of pedophiles that will surely make you want to lock your family in the house and never let them leave. As we said, this is a hard subject to talk about, but it has to be done. People need to start trying to help pedophiles from offending. People need to start taking preventive measures.

About the Whormones Podcast

The Whormones podcast is an anti-feminist, feminist podcast where two completely different points of view of sexuality, feminism, and life are discussed. The politically incorrect humor and witty banter featuring Alia Janine’s wilder and more sexually experienced interpretations, and Jaqi Furback’s biting and more conservative demeanor makes these two the modern day odd couple.

It's our 10th episode! We wanted to thank everyone for listening! We're excited for more to come!

Today we sat down and talked about cheating. Why do people cheat? Why do people cheat who are in love? And the age old question, who is the fastest cheater in our man made jungle, men or women? We take five different articles and dissect each one on creditability, personal opinions, and accuracy. All of the articles have different, and even drastic differences, as do we.

One article from ABC interviewing Dr. Bonnie Eaker Weil stated, "More than 50 percent of all married women, at some point, cheat on their mates, says Weil, so husbands should never be too cocky that their wife won't stray." You have to be on the alert that at any moment you could lose your partner," she says."

Dr. Robi Ludwig answered the question why she thought women might be cheating more on the Huffington Post with, "Part of the reason is access. Women are in the workplace more than ever before. So they have access to men who might be interesting and available to them. And the Internet and social media has made cheating so much easier to do. Cheating is basically just a click away now."

Our new BFF, Dr. Pepper Scharwtz on AARP stated, these findings from her research:

"45 percent of the men and 26 percent of the women said they are attracted to one of their partners’ friends — and tempted to act on it.

33 percent of the men and 19 percent of the women said they’d had sex outside their marriage.

46 percent of the men and 19 percent of the women who cheated said it was because “I just can’t help myself.”"

While the Business Insider interviewed Anthropologist, Dr. Helen Fisher and she states, "In short, we're capable of loving more than one person at a time."

Find out what we had to say and to see which sex is the bigger cheater!

We're back in New York City and couldn't be happier! In this episode we recap our trip to the Midwest, and all the awesome craziness that went along with it. We talk about racism, sexual assault, and cheese. It was an interesting and fun trip, you have to hear it to believe it!

We then dive into today's topic, which is the science behind the sex partners we choose. We also discuss the science why some people cheat, and why some people choose to have multiple partners while still in a monogamous relationships. We found some article that explain the environment can affect the mating habits of all animals, including humans. Is global warming affecting the way humans find and reproduce with their partners? Are our stress factors causing more infidelity? Are more people choosing multiple sex partners because of their environments? We figure out these questions, as well as a few others. We close out the show with Jaqi reading another page from Just the Tips by, Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky!

In episode 7 we bring up a subject that rides the thin line of most people's moral compass, sex surrogates. What are they? What exactly do they do? Why are they needed? Are they really needed, or is are they just glamorized escorts? Why is sex important to mental and physical health? We try to answer these questions along with may others for another fun and interesting episode!

We close out the show with Jaqi doing what she loves (hates) most, another page from, Just the Tips, by Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky!
